Red Right Wings were Realing!

Attendance 20
Canadian Boycott?

We usually have 1 or 2 Canadians in our Friday night games, sometimes even 3, when Geno shows up.  We even had 3 in Phoenix, thanks to Lepin Lou and Dexterous Daren and their working flex schedules and understanding bosses.  (Maybe they were on official company business, We won't tell)  We could have used Lou and Darren, with Perry in Texas, Bill BTW and Geno AWOL, we had a very poor turn out.  Only 20 guys got off of the couch

Four! Grant Golf Outing June 21st.

to participate in a great game that featured great goal tending by the Brain and The Anvil.  A Duffer First may have been achieved in the second period, when both teams were scoreless!  The game started out like a high scoring event when "TO" flipped a back hander past Eddie in the opening minutes.  Mini Wheezer scored for the Reds to tie the score a few minutes later.  Super Dave raced out of the corner and stuffed one past the Brain.  Robby "Piggy Bank" Granato quickly evened the score, when he blasted one past the Anvil.  Mini Wheezer then gave the Reds a 3-2 lead, to end the high scoring first period.  The second period was scoreless, thanks to some great saves by Eddie on Brinks and Thor.  Brian made some great saves on Mini, Tommy and George of the Jungle.  The scoring resumed in the 3rd period, when Mini Wheezer one timed a beautiful pass from TZ to make it 4-2 and give him a Hat Trick.  Piggy Bank beat Eddie to make it a one goal game again, but the Reds put it away with goals by Super Dave and Mini Wheezer.  Fruit Cake almost scored a goal that would have made it 49-3 with the Bobka Factor, when he fired a shot from the slot that Stump blocked.  The puck went right back to Fred and he fired another shot that hit Stump.  TZ and George of the Jungle had 3 assists each as they set up their right wingers for 6 goals!  Basketball Jones showed up and got tossed off of the White bench.  View Tim's X-ray. Frank and Fred did a great job on defense for the Reds since they had to play extra time for all of the guys that stayed on the couch.  They were happy to have Bill "The Maestro" Conti as the 3rd defenseman. Bill easily logged over 60 minutes of ice time.

Grant Importing Golf

Brinks announced that the golf outing will be on June 21st this summer.  Maybe Darren and Lou will fly in for that great Duffer event.

This picture ran in the March 7th issue, but it only got 25 hits, so here it is again.
