Attendance 26 Report by The Flea

Beeves Returns!

Beeves read about our sagging attendance, so he decided to make the long drive in from West Bloomfield, Michigan to help out his old teammates.  Little did he know that 3 Rob Granatos and Butt Head would all end their hold outs and show up too.  In addition to that, 11 of the 12 duffers with perfect attendance showed up.  Hacksaw was the only one to ruin his perfect attendance, when he went to see Pink Floyd's Waters playing a smattering of solo material, with the focus on a performance of "Dark Side of the Moon".  The 1973 song cycle has surpassed its origins as a bong-hugger .  Bill BTW also missed a great Duffer game to walk on the Dark Side with Hacksaw.  Thor returned to team up with Magoo to lead the Polar Bears to a 2-1 Meaningful win. (Maybe)* Harvey picked up the lone goal for the Red Bears.  Knarf, Klinger, Fruit Cake, Hitman, Tweedy, The Anvil, Stump, Magoo, Harvey and the Z Boys kept their Perfect Attendance after week 4.

The Number 1 Star of the game was Eddie the Anvil.

Geno is close to reaching an agreement with the Duffer GM.  He hopes to end his hold out next week.  Doc is on IR (Wrist).  Only Super Dave and Bob Morgan are still AWOL.  The Reds won the Meaningless contest with goals by Mini Wheezer , Tommy and Tweedy.  The Flea sent the following summary of the Polar Bear goals: The whites struggled against the hot goaltending by Eddie. I know Art had one, Johnny Z had one, Rob Granato 1, Robbie (Don's son) had one/maybe two.  Tweedy sent the Following Red Bear scoring summary: I think Tommy had 3, I had 1 or 2, Hitman also had a meaningful.  I have no idea what the final score was, but if Hitman scored, the Meaningful score would be 2-2.*

Thanks for the Beer

Brinks was back from watching a bunch of golfers, who care only about themselves, try to play a team game in Ireland.  He brought us a cooler full of Duffer approved beers, as he has done hundreds of times before.  He has supplied thirsty Duffers with thousands of dollars worth of beer.  He asks only one thing when he is away.  That we drink Duffer approved beers only.  Strohs, Amstel, Heineken and that Polish beer, Zywiec, just to name a few.  Rob will give us a complete list when he gets around to
