The Whites finally found a winning combination when they split up the Beak-Boris Hop a Long line.  Thor teamed up with Boris and Beak paired up with Brinks.  Thor was able to tap in an easy goal when Tweedy took a pass from Hacksaw and feathered a beautiful pass to Thor on the edge of the crease.  Beak set up a Rich Storm tap in with a blind pass that was set up when Stormy and Beak double teamed Koss behind his own net.  Beak felt pretty good about the goal until he went back to the bench and described the double team and one of his team mates said, "Why did you have to double team Koss?"
Brinks clinched the win for the Whites when Beak hit the post and Rich Storm picked up the puck and shoved it over to Brinks, who fired it past a rattled Anvil. 
The Reds were able to win the Meaningless game with a tainted goal by Zag Nuts.  The net and Gary the Ghost were spun around when Tommy tapped it in.  Stump, the referee, claimed that he didn't see the net move.  An old line from Slap Shot came up when He was accused of sleeping with old goalies.  (Latest stats show the Anvil's age as Meaningful) 
The truth came out at the Bar when we found out that Stump was unhappy with the Ghost.  (missed Hockey to watch the Cubs last week)

Beak lings

We can't find any ice for the Friday after Thanksgiving, so we are looking at the possibility of playing in Peoria on that Friday afternoon.  Check your calendar and be ready to

let us know if you can make it.  Art can get us Peoria goalies and players to fill the void.  We have paid for ice at Darien on Thanksgiving morning at 9:00.  No guests are needed on that day.
