The senior citizen locker room was not a pretty site if you are a compassionate person.  Beak's bad hip prevented him from tying his right skate, so Brinks was trying to tie it with an aching back.  You never would have thought that in a few minutes, these guys would be skating in the season's most exciting game.  Lorenzo, celebrated his new Duffer status, (The King accepted his application to join the exclusive Duffer Hockey Club) by ringing the first shot of the game off of the post and into the net for a 1-0 lead for the Reds.  Rich Storm and Johnny Z answered with goals to put the Whites ahead 2-1.  Zagnuts tied it late in the first period.
        Beak Jr. fired a slap shot through a crowd that caromed off of Brink's shin guard and into the net to give the

Whites a 3-2 lead and a 1-0 Meaningful lead.  The Ghost never had a chance to stop that one.  Brinks tipped in a rebound in the second period, but Tommy Z added 2 goals to keep it close at Whites 5, Reds 4.  With only 5 minutes left in the game, Harvey tied the score with a flutter blast and Mini-Wheezer quickly gave the Reds the lead.  King Kong then tied it and Rich Storm wrestled the lead back to the Whites with a game winning goal.  Brinks put the icing on the cake with his third goal in the final minute of play to give Brian and the Whites a thrilling 8-6 win.
