For over 45 minutes, The Ghost and the Brain kept all meaningful goals out of the nets.  Just when it looked like a double meaningful shut out, Harvey deflected a shot that came from the point right past the Ghost.  (Judging from the speed of the shot, it probably came from Klinger or Knarf.)  Rich Storm took the ensuing face off and raced into the Red zone and fired a pass to Beak who had just moved into the slot.  Beak one timed the pass and fired it past the Brain to knot the Meaningful score at 1-1.  Beak went over to the Red bench to congratulate Harvey on his beautiful goal, and Zagnuts quipped, "Too bad we will never read about it in the Duffer News, now that you scored.The Meaningless contest was close as the Whites downed the Reds 5-4.  Goals by Doc, Berserk, Rich Storm and Beavis gave the Whites the win.  Zagnuts and Dizzy Dzingel (2)* scored for the Reds.  Dizzy's first goal was off side, but his son Tim was the linesman and had to look the other way.
