Brinks Hammers The Anvil!
Another close game was featured on Friday night.  The meaningful contest was so close that no winner was declared after an hour and a half of blood sweat and tears.  Thor started the scoring early when Tweedy set him up  for a 1-0 lead.  Beer-nuts missed a chance to tie it when he had Eddie “The Anvil” down and out, but he missed the open net.
The Alien beat Eddie shortly after that to tie the game at 1-1.  Hacksaw got a beautiful pass from Beavis and beat the Ghost with a one timer to give the Whites a 2-1 lead. The only problem with the play, was Beavis wasn’t on Hacksaw's team.  All Beavis could do was laugh.  (There's no crying in Duffers hockey.)

The creature from Roswell scored again to tie the game at 2.  Brinks gave the Home team the lead in the third period when Tweedy told him to break for the net on a face off in the Visitors zone.  Tommy Z picked up the signal and tried to foil the plan but Tweedy poked it between Tommy's legs and flipped it to Brinks, who fired it past the Ghost for what looked like the  game winner.  Beer-nuts foiled the White win when he got a gift from Koss and tied the Meaningful contest at 3-3.  Koss didn't laugh, he looked like Mike Keenan.  Things were flying around the bench until he finally cooled off with a beer.  The Meaningless contest was just as close with the Blues taking a 6-5 lead into the final minute.  This time lil’ Fruitcake put the score in the right columns, so the Blues never pulled their goalie and the game ended with a 6-5 score.  The pace of the game was a little faster because the Blues had Miller Lite and Miller Ultra-Lite flying around.

Magoo was missing!  What would make him pass up a chance to score in 4 straight games? The King is on vacation, could it be they went to Vegas together? Naaaah

 Do You Need a Room?

We Need to Know Now!

We have 2 vans and several SUVs going.  Beer-nuts will probably have a pick up at Cracker Barrel on Weber Road.  Call the Beak cell phone if you have a problem.  I'll have it on, honest!
