Attendance 21

The Anvil is Red Hot!!

The start of the game looked stacked in favor of the Polar Bears, as they put together an All Canadian forward line that accounted for all of the White goals.  Perry the Flea and Bill By the Way each scored a goal on assists by the Geno, the 1 eyed Canadian.  That is all that they could muster against the Red's Red Hot Goalie, Eddie The Anvil.  The Reds got all of the goals that they needed from Mini Wheezer, who exploded for 4 big ones!  Johnny "Stretch" Z also had a Hat Trick for the hated Red Army.  Tommy had a few and the Reds got meaningful goals from Mr. Magoo and Hitman.  The final score was 12-2! Someone else had a hat trick, but no one claimed it by the Monday night press dead line.
Klinger brought out a guest named Park.  When he gave his name, He

5 goals from these guys, Mini Wheezer bagged 4, While Magoo scored a meaningful

got a laugh when he was told he didn't need a nick name.  Park looks promising, because He has gray hair, He has been married for a long time, so his wife is happy to get rid of him on Friday nights, He looks a little like Bob the Geek Friedlander, and he looks old enough to be an original Duffer.
We had a great turn out at
Buffalo Wild Wings after the game with The Maestro, Hacksaw, Beak, BBTW, Knarf, Klinger, Park, (I told you he looks like a good Duffer) Hitman, Mini, Butt-Head, Rich Storm, Tommy Z, The Flea and The Anvil, who got a jump at the rink when he helped Bill BTW get rid of some bad whiskey.  The Anvil was seen in the shower with his skates and leg pads when we left the Rink.  We thought Eddie would be a no show at the bar, but only Johnny, Thor and Magoo went straight home.

I have to apologize for the incomplete report, because I had a 9:00 Rocket launch at the Batavia Library that will more than pay for my Duffer Dues.  When I arrived at the start of the third period, the score was 10-1, so I only saw a few goals in the 3rd period.  Next week I hope to make my Zebra debut if I can get my skates tied.

This came in a day after the Monday night deadline, We never introduced 2 Rich Storm creations on the same week, so we were going to save this for another time, but Rich Storm said, "Mini Wheezer will never have 4 goals again, so run it now."

Sun-Times Columnists, Zay Smith named my Pluto site the "QT" Internet Site of the Week for September 10, 2006: He wrote, "A glimpse at how large the universe is, showing not only how small the diminished dwarf planet Pluto is, but also how small Earth is, and even how small the sun is, and QT is not mentioning this site, not for a minute, just because it quotes QT several times, is at http://www.lopatka.net/planets/index.htm.
