Friday's battle started out with great goaltending by The Anvil and The Brain.  They made some great saves to finish the first period with double shut outs.  Eddie made an A-Rod type save when he raced from the corner and dived straight out and back handed a Rich Storm shot at the open net.  Eddie's shut out ended when Koss fluttered a shot through a crowd that eluded Eddies speedy glove.  Shortly after that, Thor ended his meaningful shutout when he one timed a fluttering pass from Rich Storm and made it a fluttering squared slap shot that found it's way into the net.  Brinks clinched the Meaningful shut out win for the Brain and the Whites with a third period goal.  The Whites also took the meaningless contest 7-3 with a bunch of late goals.  Miller Lite, Rich Storm, Berserk and Johnny the Vulture had goals for the Whites.  Zagnuts, Uncle Bob and Butt Head tallied for the Reds.  Mini Wheezer had several crashes that could qualify for the Klinger Krash award this year.  Beak Junior missed the game because he got rear ended on I-55.  Magoo began working on a soft tissue injury settlement in the locker room.

We will be going to Denver March 5-8, 2004, To skate and watch the Avalanche play The Sharks and the Flames, If you are interested, get your $100 deposit to Mike Presecky, Rich Storm, or The Shah-Misel, by December 27th. The balance will most likely be due by February 1st.
