Geno and Rob Granato Sr. Joined the Red Hat Club!
Our regular official goalies were back and the shooters were glad to see them in the nets, as they bagged 6 meaningful goals and many more meaningless goals. A one eyed Canadian scored 3 goals and a one legged Polish guy even scored. The only goalie to show up at Ditka's, our new Friday Night Watering Hole, was Tweedy! If he keeps that up, he could move up to the number 1 goalie soon.

we are a drinking team with a hockey problem! We had 10 guys there, but that is only a 50% turn out.
The most dangerous player was Tim Gym Shorts Smith. He nailed his team mate, Beak, just below his new hip zipper scar, then he fired a high hard one that left a mark on his bicep. Pictures are posted on the IR section below. Beak wasn't the only target, Tim deflected a shot that hit Hitman in the boob. Hitman didn't really mind, because the puck ended up in the net behind Eddie. Beak also got hit in the nuts and in the skate with passes, it was ugly. Eddie later provided the best laugh of the night when he wandered out to the blue line and failed to clear the puck. That gave Magoo a shot at the open net, and he fired it wide. While Eddie was scrambling back to the net, Thor had enough time to grab Magoo's rebound and fire a shot at the 24 square
feet of empty net and He missed too! That pre game Heineken may have cost him a goal. Magoo got the first White Meaningful goal, while Geno bagged 2 for the Reds. Hitman's boob shot tied the game at 2-2. Mini Wheezer set up the game winner when he took the puck behind the Brain's goal. The Brain has learned to always keep one eye on Mini-Wheezer, so he looked over his shoulder just as Beak yelled ,"NOW". Mini put a beautiful pass right on Beak's tape and he buried it before the Brain knew what happened. Geno added an insurance goal to give him the Hat Trick. Rob Senior also had a hat trick for the Reds while his son had a goal for the Whites. Nick scored at least 3 on his dad, while Tweedy added a few more. Tommy had a couple

to seal the meaningless win for the Reds. The 46 Zone in the Ditka Dome turned out to be a good place for the Duffers, We paid only $11.00 for the same amount of Amstel that we got in a $15 bucket.

Toy for Tots
Brian sent out an e-mail plea for Toys for Tots last week
and only 1 duffer remembered to bring a toy, Thanks Mike.
He kept his promise, he wore his Duffer shirt, but the CBS TV cameras
didn't zoom in on his toy.
A copy of his e-mail is printed below.
Date: 12/7/2005 5:51:03 PM
Subject: Toys for Tots
Hey Beak,
Do me a favor......Jenn and I are doing a Toys for Tots Jeep run on
lake shore drive on Sunday.
It's for a good cause, and if anyone is interested in donating a new
toy
to the cause, have them bring it to hockey on Friday night, and we
will
add it to the pile in the Jeep to be delivered to the Marine Base on
Sunday.
If anyone donates anything, Jenn and I will
wear Duffers attire on Sunday and get into some photo's.
500 Jeeps going down Lake Shore Drive escorted by the CPD is a beautiful
thing!
Thanks
