Virtual Reality was discovered Friday night.  Bill Gifune was vividly recalling the last Duffer Banquet at the Plantation House.  Remember?  That was the time we fixed up one of our most eldigible bachelors, with a Resesitation Doll.  We had a lot of laughs, until the Duffer Time Line Placed that event in 1978. Bill didn't move here until 1980.  Bill discovered that if you hear a story told over and over by several story tellers in a smoke filled bar, where you pause for several beers while visualizing and laughing hysterically, your brain will put you in the event after you repeated this activity several times over a 2 year period.  He had heard that story so many times that his mind crossed over into Virtual Reality.

The June 10 Summer Skate featured some noteworthy news events, so I 'm going to update you this time, but don't make a habit of it.  I would hate to make up a top ten  list of excuses for missing Hockey.  Things like "I forgot", "I didn't have five bucks" and "I don't like Fun", might lead the list.
