Game Report 
Friday's game featured many sub stories.  Rich Storm was absent due to a Klinger Krash that he suffered a week earlier.  He is listed as Day to Day, which is week to week in Duffer Speak.  Bill "the Alien" Allen returned to action after a missing a year or two, which is a millennium in Duffer time.  (Maybe the Nailer will be inspired and make a comeback)  The most exciting sub plot was brought about by Perry "The Flea" when he played his first game as an American citizen.  Congratulations to Perry and Debbie!

 The game started out with too many players wearing Red, so 2 Bills (Bill By the Way and Bill the Maestro" Conti) were traded, actually they were given to the Whites for no compensation.  That was a generous move since the Whites already had Rob (NHL) Granato and Art.  Rob was given NHL status by Beak's grandson Jeff after he chased him around for 2 periods.  Jeff asked his Grandpa, "Why isn't that guy in the NHL?"  The game was a tight contest until the Reds pulled ahead 7-4 early in the third on goals by SPED (3) Tommy Z (3) mini Wheezer and Magoo, but the Whites came storming back with goals by Brinks, Rob, Maestro and Art.  The game ended prematurely in an 8-8 tie when the Zamboni driver opened the door with 8 minutes left on the scoreboard and told us it was 10:20 P.M. and we were guilty of clock mismanagement without the services of Rich Storm.  One memorable play happened when the Red goalie, Tweedy came out to clear a puck from the zone.  Rob picked off his waist high clearing pass, then walked in for and easy open net goal.  Another key play came when Rob dropped a pass to his dad then skated into Ken, the Red defenseman and screened Tweedy from seeing the shot from Brinks.  Basketball Jones was accused of cheating when he became a "stay at home" defenseman.  He also got some heat after the game for his hair do.  Strange things happen when you sit in Harvey' s seat. Meaningful score was also tied at 1.

Road Trip Saturday March 24, 2007.
You have 4 weeks to get ready for our Bloomington Road Trip.  We have 22 guys so far.  3 goalies, I Referee, 1 Coach, I Fan, 16 skaters and Beak.  Art and Emil can fill out the rest of the team with Peoria Duffers.
