Cubs and Sox head for 500
season!
| July 29th turned out to be a great night for Cub fans, as Jimmy Buffett put on a Cub shirt for his final numbers. The Cubs and Sox both took another step toward a 500 season. Kerry Wood shut down the Giants 9-1 and had 2 RBI. The Sox blew another lead. The Sox also have 96 errors and it isn't even August! Could they get 200? | 
The Sox are lucky that the Cubs are not in the Central division of the
American League, where they have pounded teams like the Twins and KC.
They have even beaten the Sox 67% of the time when Big Hurt has to get
out of the dug out and put on a glove. The Cubs have outscored them
22-13 when they play by the Senior circuit rules. |

| Get ready for the Persied Meteor shower on August 11-12. All you have to do is find a nice dark spot on the satellite image above and go there. Watch the sky in the north east for shooting stars. |
| Let's go to Wally World in Florida! Since Wally bought homes in Charleston SC and Florida, he has been hit by hurricanes twice in each location. What are the odds? That should be the safest place on earth now! Let's go to Wally World for the Persied meteor shower! |
