The second summer game had plenty of scoring as the Reds and Rich Storm and the Z boys were lighting up the Brain like the Las Vegas Strip.  Stump brought up a rookie goalie that did a good job keeping the Reds in the lead.  The Lopatka boys kept the game close with several goals each, but the  Reds ran off with the meaningless contest.  Rich Storm had a devastating goal to finish off the Brain when he tipped a blast past him that neither guy saw.  In the interview after the game, Rich Storm said that he did see the puck when it stopped in the net.
The game winning goal came in the 3rd period when Beak fired a rink wide pass to Magoo that sprung him for a clean break away.  Stick handled in and fried the game winner past the Rookie goalie.  The goal didn't rattle the new comer until he got to the bar and he found out that that goal gave the Whites a 1-0 meaningful win. 

Klinger was MVP as he provided a cooler full of Amstel and Heinakin. 

August 28th Golf Outing

We need 2 more golfers  for 9 holes at Waveland.  We have 2 and a half 4 somes for an early Tee off that will get you to the Jimmy Buffett party in plenty of time.

Ice Rental Goes Way Up

Dues will not be raised, however your weekly skate will cost $10 starting in September.

Stump had to bring in a rookie goalie for the July game.
