In 1998, after Cammi won the Olympic Gold Medal with the USA Women's Hockey Team, Downers Grove had a parade for her and the Duffers participated with a float in Cammi Granato Day Parade  Cammi won a State championship in 1986 while playing on my son Dan Lopatka's Huskie Bantam team. She played with her Dad's Duffers Hockey team whenever she could. Downers had another parade in 2002 when she won the Silver Medal. Cammi graduated from Downers North in 1989.
