We drove all day Saturday on our way to Athens Alabama.  We stopped in Guntown Mountain for food. I was happy to see the Redbud trees in bloom.

We had a construction delay that had us driving through some rain at night on our way to our motel in Athens Alabama. Sunday we had great weather and we saw a gibbous waxing moon.

We stopped at Priester's Pecan farm that was filled with tourists.

The parking lot was filled.

 We  arrived on Sunday afternoon. 

My sister Pat was waiting to fuss over us.

I enjoyed great weather every day as I had coffee on their deck.

My sister made us bacon and happy eggs every morning.

On Monday, we went to Pensacola Beach.

My grandson Michael couldn't wait to go fishing.

I walked to the end of the pier and watched a team of fishermen unsuccessfully try to bring in this shark.

Michael caught a Catfish and gave it to a family who thanked him for their dinner. We went to Peg Leg Pete's and waited for Sandi, Kathie and Dick to arrive. The bartender took this picture of us.

On Tuesday, we went to Fort Pickens.

We watched the Blue Angels practice.

Michael went fishing after our tour of Fort Pickens.

We finished the day with a great meal at Red Fish, Blue Fish.

Wednesday we went on a Dolphin Sunset cruise.

We saw a lot of dolphins, they came right up to the boat.

On Thursday, we went to the U.S. Navy Air Museum.

We got to see the Blue Angels up close.

After our visit to the museum, we had a big meal at McGuire's (Left) where they waste a lot of money covering their ceiling.
