February 21, 2008 We lost a tough one to the Blues.  Thursday's game was in the junk rink, so I had to shoot pictures through the glass.  (First 6 pictures)  On Saturday, we eliminated the #1 seeded team when we played a great game and downed the Falcons.  On Sunday, February 24, 2008, we jumped on the Express early when Todd Roy got us an early lead.

Half way through the first period, Todd Roy scored again on a power play to make it 2-0.  The game took an ugly turn when Jeff got cross checked in the  back of the neck, when he turned to get a number, he got cross checked in the front of the neck. Jeff lost it and pounded the offender into submission, I didn't get any pictures until the referees pulled Jeff off of the guy.  Jeff got 10 minutes while the instigator only got 4 minutes.  Jeff got tossed and is through for the year.  We killed off the penalties and took a 3-0 lead in the second period.

They made it close with a pair of goals in the third, but Todd put it away with a break away goal to get his hat trick!  We will play on Tuesday February 26th for 3rd place in the State!  The bad news is Jeff, Josh and the coach are suspended from that game.
