The Wheelers jumped off to an early lead when they scored in less than 2 minutes, but Dan Lopatka tied it a minute later with an unassisted
goal at 12:14.
Chris Ludy gave Wags the lead a few seconds later when he buried a pass from
Tommy Zagorski. Russ Reel extended the lead to 2, when He finished off a beautiful passing play that started with a 3 on 1 led by
John Woodring who passed to Dean Paloumpis. The goalie braced for a tough shot in the slot, but Dean slid the puck over to Russ who fired it into the top shelf for a highlight reel goal with 6:13 left in the first period. The Wheelers cut the lead to 3-2 in the final minute of the period. 30 seconds into the 2nd period, Lopatka got that goal

That woke the Wags team up, as Russ picked up his hat trick a minute into the 3rd period. 2 minutes later, Tommy Z pumped in a power play goal on a pass from Lopatka. 2 minutes later, Russ set up Woodring for his second goal and the Wags regained their comfortable lead. With 7:25 left in the game, Lopatka made it 10-5 with his Hat Trick. The Wheelers scored
on a power play when Shultz was in the "Sin Bin" for tripping, but Chris Ludy got that goal back with his second goal with 2:23 left in the game. Lopatka was

credited with the assist. Chris kicked and swatted at the puck until the goalie was out of moves, then he flipped it in to make the final score 11-6.
Ed Waghorne was the busiest guy on the ice , because he had to make 44 saves!
