Brinks scored in the closing minutes to give the Whites an 8-7 win.  The Reds got Hat tricks from Bill By the Way and Tommy Z.  Mini Wheezer scored the Reds 7th goal to give them a lead in the third, but Art took a pass from Koss and blasted a 99 MPH slap shot past The Anvil to tie it and then Brinks flipped in the game winner.  White goals were scored by Art (4), Brinks (2), Rich Storm and V-Man had 1 each.
We need a Moratorium On Ice Violence 
During the 2nd period, Bill BTW asked Beak if he thought that Duffer Hockey had become unsportsmanlike.  Beak told him that it was becoming very unDufferlike with the incidents between Mini Wheezer and the Bookie last week and Mini Wheezer and Fat Terry a few weeks before.  Then Stump blindsided Geno, a guy 20 years older than him.  That Age Difference wouldn't be bad if Stump was 15 years old, but he is in his 40s.  After Beak and Bill had that discussion, Bill went out and got in Rich Storm's way, so Mike slammed Bill to the ice.  Nuff said!  That is not the Duffer Way.  The 8-7 White win brought the 2009 Goal total to a 1

goal difference!  Reds lead 110 to 109 after 16 games in 2009.  (See Stats)

Picnic Meeting  is in the works.

• The Duffer Picnic is Friday June 6th
• The Friday, June 12, Summer Game may have to be cancelled if the Rink is shut down.  Emil could get us ice in Bloomington if anyone is interested in a 2 hour road trip.  Let Beak know
