The Picnic is June 6th!

Romeoville, IL 06/06/09 Attendance 8 Picnic Meeting! 8 Dutiful Duffers showed up at Rich Storm's house for the Duffer Picnic Committee Meeting. We had a beautiful night for a cook out, but we stayed inside ordered pizza and watched the Hawks win a thriller in overtime.  V-Man brought a bottle of Crown Royal to give us that locker room feeling. We failed to finish the bottle without the Anvil's help.  We still have some unfinished business, because The Maestro did not return the Klinger Krash Award, so He will bring it to Duffer Lunch

Hey Perry, we found it!

on Thursday.  Perry never did find the Meaningless Trophy, but that was OK, since Mike never gave it to him after his name was engraved on it.  Bill Conti was given Basketball Jones' job to get the corn and butter this year. The next winners will be named at the picnic on June 7th. Remember the winner of the Klinger Krash Award must be present to win the award.  Tommy will get 4 large Bags of charcoal.  Tweedy and Grandpa Ken will bring the ice and help the meaningful Duffers unload the half ton Duffer Grill. (.5 Metric Ton)  (Bring Jeff too)  Thor showed up to tell us that he can't bring the bread or the Bags Boards, because he will be golfing on the day of the Picnic. Stump will get 40 pounds of sausage and 10 pounds of beef.  Johnny Z has agreed to take over children's games. Tom Ambrosia will get the pop and water, while Mini Wheezer will get the jardinière, onions and peppers.  Frank will get the paper goods and Beak will get Hot dogs, buns etc. Click here to See a complete list of picnic duties. We need help unloading the grill and setting up. We also need help cleaning up and lifting the grill after the picnic. So if you have a graduation to go to, you will be more than welcome around 6 or 7 o'clock when the old guys need a nap.

Golf Anyone? The Grant Golf outing is June 20 Call Grant Importing.  $90.00  Tim Smith Golf Outing is June 27, call BBTW The Friday, June 12, Summer Game is cancelled Emil could get us ice in Bloomington if anyone is interested in a 2 hour overnight road trip.  We will set a date when Donny G checks his schedule.
