Reds.  Mini Wheezer recovered after a loud crash that twisted his wrist to score one for the Reds.  Miller Lite had a hat plus one and Rich Storm blew a beautiful one timer past Tweedy that was set up by Butt Head.  The Brain lost the meaningful shut out in the closing minutes when Hitman poked a lose puck past him. Tweedy took home the prized 1-0 meaningful win.  Hitman's Meaningful goal ended a 2 week drought.

Klinger Crash Outbreak

Last week it was the threat of an ice storm, this week it was snow flurries that caused our defensemen to get 60 minutes of ice time and only 30 minutes of bench time.  Most kids would love that, but if you know the Duffer history, you know that us senior citizens have fun on the bench listening to semi true embellished stories.  We got Butt head and Harvey out this week, but we lost Magoo to nuptials and Sanchez who was probably worn out by last week's poor turn out.  Tweedy replaced the Anvil who had to salt some roads.  Cup cake must have had a hot date, so he sent his little brother.  Alien was missing due to a concussion, but the good news was we picked up Miller Lite and Ultra Lite.  With Beak, Brain, Hacksaw, Thor, Blue Ball Bill, Johnny Back Hand, Tommy Zagnuts, Klinger, Knarf, Beer Nuts, Mini Wheezer, Hansen Brother, Tweedy, Rich Storm, Hitman and Fruitcake we managed to get to the minimum.
We had a great slow motion game that may have been a little slower than our 3 line games.  The young legs took over most of the scoring.  Zagnuts had a hat while his line mate, Blue Ball Bill, scored the 4th meaningless goal for the

The Anvil's Understudy.

We have had an outbreak of Klinger Crashes in the last 2 games.  Last week the Alien took a bad spill, this week Beak crushed some ribs when he tried to fire a one timer and took a fall.  Mini Wheezer took his usual booming board crash, but Butt Head upstaged him when he hit the

ice and boards at the same time.  Stump, who was back on skates,  stopped play immediately with a whistle.

Bill, By the Way, got the locker room party going with some Iceberg Vodka that he brought .

A Big Locker room Party broke out when  Bill, By the Way broke out the Iceberg.

Harvey and BBB show no sympathy for Mini Wheezer's limp wrist. That Vodka was made from 20,000 year old water. That stale water  made me toss my cookies.

There were laughs all around. Morgan and the Brain went straight to Bonos and waited for a while.

Beak brought in the young Duffers' Thursday night cooler with plenty of Strohs.

We laughed for almost an hour.

Thor reaches for his Strohs as Hacksaw cracks up.

Knarf listens as Thor pontificates.

Beer Nuts and Klinger can't stop laughing. It must have been the ancient water

The Anvil was salting the roads, so Tweedy got the call.

Since Tweedy had to take on Anvil's role, Rich Storm gave him Eddie's beard..

There is an entry on the Duffer Calendar for March 7, 2004.  Beak has been involved with the Jim Misiora Day at the Races. He will be twisting arms so that we can have a table full of Duffers at that fun filled event.  For more information, click here. If you can't go to Denver that weekend, He would really appreciate it if you would help him fill one table.

You can e-mail History updates to Beak.
