UB Hat Trick cropped.jpg (78452 bytes)richstorm.jpg (137661 bytes)

The Reds picked up their first win of the year on Friday with the help of some great goal tending by Eddie "The Anvil" and some sharp shooting by Uncle Bob, Hitman and Beer NutsUncle Bob lead the Meaningless attack on Gary "The Ghost" with a disputed Hat Trick.  Stump, Anvil and the Ghost ganged up on UB when they tried to give his third goal to John Koss.  Koss wouldn't take it and became UB's "Koss Eyed" Witness.  The dispute inspired Rich Storm to put the Goalies in their place with another masterpiece! (Pictured Left).  Beer Nuts started the Meaningful scoring with a goal on his first shift.  Hit Man added another for the Reds in the second period.  The Whites cut the lead in half when Tweedy threaded a pass right onto the stick of his Dad.  Beak one timed it past the Anvil, off of the post and into the net for his 4th goal in 4 weeks.  Mr. Clean and Thor nearly tied it late in the game, but the Anvil, the oldest Meaningless player, was on top of his game.  His performance earned a spot on Peoria travel team on November 2, 2002. The Reds won the  Meaningful game 2-1 and took the Meaningless 6-5.

Tommy Z tries to stay awake for 15 more minutes so that he can celebrate his 32nd birthday. (Check out the clock over his left shoulder.) Brother Johnny Z is wide awake as he gives Frank one of his Baseball theories. Uncle Bob was the last man standing at 2 AM. UB was rewarded for lasting that long with Jacket #31. (The Ghost went home in shirt sleeves and UB went home with a Jacket to add to his Hat)

The first time that Uncle Bob was featured by Rich Storm was this Honeymooners picture.  Bob keeps reminding Beak that he had a hat trick, while Thor keeps 'em laughing.
