Friday's contest featured meaningful shut outs by Eddie the Anvil and Gary the Ghost.
The meaningless contest turned out to be a thriller too.
  The score was tied at one after one, as Papa Joe was placed on the 7 day disabled list.  Jerry O was traded to the Whites to fill the void.   The Blues took a 5-2 lead into the third period but the Whites came storming back to get within 1 in the final minute.  In a daring move, the Whites pulled "The Anvil" who was protecting a meaningful shut out.  The move didn't work as the Ghost held off the attack and came away with a 6-5 win.
