The Reds picked up Tweedy for Zagnuts in a last minute trade and it turned out to be a great move.  Of coarse if The Anvil hadn't stopped every thing that was shot at him, the Reds could have lost 8-7.  Beer-Nuts had a great game on defense and the Reds almost turned in a shut out.  Only a late goal by Rick "Gilbert" Felman spoiled Eddie's shut out. 
      Tweedy set up Magoo in the first period to give the Reds an early lead.  Hitman scored a little later to put the Meaningful contest out of reach.  The Anvil turned away all meaningful shots.  The Reds ran the Meaningless score up to 7 with goals by Rich Storm, Mini Wheezer and  I can't remember. 
     Kevin Devine took the loss in the nets for the Whites.  Kevin found us in the Sun newspaper and sent the following e-mail.  "I hope this e-mail gets to Greg. If it does, I would be interested to know if you have any

openings on your team. I play goal and would be interested in keeping

my skills sharp, I haven't played in about two years, but love to play that game."

Peoria Plans Return the same day Group: Eddie the Anvil will drive his camper and return shortly after the Duffer Game. You are welcome to ride with him if you don't want to stay for the Rivermen game. Overnighters: Mazurk will drive his camper that seats 6. Larry, Doc, Beak, Klinger, Beer-Nuts and Mazurk have requested to ride the Van.
Wheezer has offered to drive his SUV that seats 4 and many bags.  Harvey has offered to let the King drive his car.
We will leave Cracker Barrel on Webber Road and I-55 at 9:30 on Saturday Morning.  Breakfast is served at 8:30
