Friday's game started out like Friday the thirteenth for the Brain, as Papa Joe fluttered a soft shot at the net that Brian was ready to grab, when his defensemen, Beak Junior, tipped it past him for a 1-0 lead.  After being scored on by the oldest Duffer, the youngest Duffer, Joe Bobka, fired one past him to give the Reds a 2-0 lead.  Brinks poked one past the Anvil to give the Whites a 1-1 meaningful tie.  The Brain's luck continued to spiral downward when Magoo gave the Reds a 2-1 meaningful lead with a bad angle shot that Rich Storm deflected into his own net. 
Cupcake Bobka scored again to give the Reds a 3 goal lead that looked insurmountable, but the Whites came storming back with a goal by Mini Wheezer late in the second.  Thor knotted the meaningful contest at 2 and made it 4-3 Meaningless, with a blast past the Anvil midway through the 3rd period.  Young Sean Morgan saved the day when he blew past Fruitcake and fired the tying goal past Eddie.  The game was tied 2-2 meaningful, and 4-4 meaningless.  The Anvil came up with a game saver when he beat Beak Jr. with 1 minute left to play.

Magoo almost won it for the  Reds in the final seconds, but the Brain came up big to preserve the ties.  Klinger had several crashes with Brinks and Rich Storm, but that usually isn't newsworthy unless we need some filler words.
