Road Trip Saturday March 24, 2007.
You have 6 weeks to get ready for our Bloomington Road Trip.  We have 22 guys so far.  3 goalies, I Referee, 1 Coach, I Fan, 16 skaters and Beak.  Art and Emil can fill out the rest of the team with Peoria Duffers.
Game Report 
We had 2 evenly matched teams that had plenty of scoring chances, but the big

Eddie the Anvil lit up the bar last Friday.

difference was outstanding goaltending by Eddie the Anvil.  He made a number of game saving saves.  Magoo had 3 meaningful goals, and Harvey knocked his own rebound past the Brain to give the Reds a 4-0 Meaningful win.   The Meaningless contest was a little closed as Bill BTW blew a couple past Eddie and the Whites were in the game after 2 periods, when the score was knotted at 4 apiece, but the Reds pulled away for a 9-6 win, with superb passing between Tweedy and Tommy.  (We have to split them up.)  The Flea, Art and Fruitcake did a fine job on D, but the Reds had too much fire from the Meaningful players.  Rich Storm, Art, BBTW and the Flea scored for the Whites, While Tweedy, Tommy, Magoo, Harvey and the Maestro scored the Red goals.  Special Ed took a bad fall in the second period and he landed on his head.  After some Bill BTW rum shots in the locker room and his Statue of Liberty impersonation at the bar, he will never know if his head ache on Saturday morning was caused by a concussion or a hang over.  The waitress gave Ed his bill, he looked at it, dropped it on the floor, then asked the waitress for his bill.  She told him that she had given it to him 10 minutes ago.  He didn't remember a thing, until Stump found the missing bill on the floor.  My diagnosis is hang over.  Our Co-MVPs were Bill BTW and Brinks, who supplied us with the needed materials for 20 hang overs.  Mini Wheezer showed up and stayed on the Red bench until Tommy gassed him out.  He spent the last 2 periods on the White bench where he hurt his bruised ribs with laughter.  Beer Nuts showed up at Buffalo Wild Wings wearing a UHL sweat shirt.  He has been working for the Chicago Hounds.  He was surprised to find out that Buffalo Wings tastes just like chicken. 
Day at the Races
The 5th annual Jim Misiora Day at the Races will be held on March 4, 2007 at Hawthorn Race track  $60.00 pays for Buffet, 4 hour Open Bar, Parking and Door Prizes.  I have Raffle Tickets.  Won't you join
