Two late goals by Dr. Evil and Mr G. sealed both games. The White team went to the bar with a 4-1 / 6-4 win.

The white team was loaded with meaningful players who wanted to be set up by Mr G's daughter, Cammi. After trying several times to give goals away to her dad and Papa Joe, Thor took a pass from John Fisher and put the white team ahead 1-0.

Sometime during the course of the day on Friday, Papa Joe must have seen his age on paper. Instead of seeing 73, something told him he was 37 again. He was going end to end 3-4 times each shift as quickly as UB does once. Perhaps he was another victim of the "Old Guys wanting to Skate With Cammi and get a few easy goals" disease. Or maybe since he knew Beak wasn't reporting

Thanks to Rich Storm for doing the Newsletter this
week. Cammi was in town Friday, but Beak was at a retirement
dinner so there were no pictures. Cammi and the USA team was headed for
China, but the tournament was cancelled because of the epidemic of severe acute respiratory syndrome, or
SARS. The following pictures were taken at Baseball's opening day Duffer
party. |
(Left) King Kong finds himself surrounded by Cub fans.
(Center) Zagnuts puts some more Amstel Lights on ice. (Right) Kong,
Tweedy and Mrs. Z cheer the Cubs on to a 15-2 win. |
(Left) Sox fans, Dizzy, Stormy and Knarf watch their
team go down to a 3-0 loss. (Center) Zagnuts gets another Amstel Light.
(Right) Beak and Zagnuts take the empties out after watching 4 baseball
games and a 1 hockey game. |
