Hat Trick for Hacksaw!
| The July 7th game featured a one sided meaningful contest that was caused by 3 pretty women in the stands cheering for their men. Wendy, Cindy O, and Ericka Z had the Blue team flying. Berzerk, Uncle Bob and Tommy were skating as if their women had promised them favors for goals. Uncle Bob scored 6 while Tommy and Mazurk had 4 or 5 more. The line of Beak Boris and Doc only got into the zone 4 times all night. 3 of those times, Hacksaw beat Stump for a Hat Trick. The 4th time, Koss fired a desperation pass from his own goal line to beak at the blue line, who deflected it to Drano at the red line for a break away goal. |  The Blues
won the meaningless game, 10 or 12 to 5.
Thanks to Hacksaw, and The Anvil, the Whites won the meaningful contest 3-0. The following e-mail was sent out to all E-Duffers last week: Uncle Bob scores 6: puts Anvil in possible retirement! Goalie equipment for sale, cheap, like new, hasn't been hit often (puck keeps missing equipment, shows up in net) A new white duffer jacket with #72 on it might entice goalie back between pipes.
