Attendance 17 Report by The Flea

Where's Everybody?

Only 12 Duffers have a chance to get the coveted perfect attendance award this year at the Picnic.  10 guys who were here for the opener found better things to do on week number 2 and ruined their perfect attendance.  Rumor has it that Bill by the Way and Basketball Jones went to a forgettable concert of a no hit wonder guy.  He never had a number one hit!  (Had to be wife pressure)  Like my Mom says, "everything works out for the best".  If BBTW had come to Hockey, there would have been trouble, because The King reclaimed his locker room corner and skated 2 effortless periods.  The game was not for sprinters, They played 5 on 5, with 3 on the bench, then they switched to 4 on 4 when the tongues came out.

The King came back and claimed his corner.  It is a good thing that BBTW was at a concert.

Papa Joe cashed in his good behavior points and showed up to referee 2 periods.  Unfortunately, He didn't have enough points to stay for a beer.  Thanks for the beer, Brinks!
Knarf, Klinger, Fruit Cake, Hitman, Tweedy, The Anvil, Stump, Magoo, Hacksaw, Harvey
and the Z Boys are the only Duffers with Perfect Attendance after week 2.
Tweedy won his second straight Meaningful game, thanks to  Knarf's shot from the point that was tipped past the Anvil for a meaningful goal by one of his own players.  Brinks added the clincher that was set up by Johnny Z and Hitman. Eddie the Anvil picked up his second straight Meaningless win, as the Reds won 7-3.

The following report was made possible by the Flea and Brinks:
Tweedy stoned the Flea on a top shelf shot, but Perry managed to score 2 goals that were set up by Tommy Z while roaming around in the slot.  Johnny Z scored a goal for the Whites when the Flea lifted his stick in front

of the net and a Klinger blast from the point was deflected into the top part of the net over Eddie's shoulder.  Tommy Z had at least 3, and Rich Storm had 1.  Steve Granato, who was wearing #7 scored the 3rd goal for the Whites.  Frank scored his first goal without glasses!
Where is Geno, Basket Ball Jones the Morgans?

Brinks claimed the #21 jersey after Drano gave it up.

Papa Joe had to get home before 11:00
