The Rescuers

Claim: The photographic image of a topless woman appears in the background of a scene in The Rescuers.

TRUE

Origins: On 8 January 1999, Disney announced a recall of the home video version of their 1977 animated feature The Rescuers because it contained an "objectionable background image." That image was one which appeared in a scene approximately 38 minutes into the film: as rodent heroes Bianca and Bernard fly through the city in a sardine box strapped to the back of Orville, proprietor of Albatross Air Charter Service, the photographic image of a topless woman can be seen at the window of a building in the background in two different non-consecutive frames, first in the bottom left corner, then at the top center portion of the frame:

Unlike most rumors of risqué words and visuals hidden in Disney's animated films, this one was clearly true, and the images in question were undeniably purposely inserted into the movie.

The two "topless woman" frames had reputedly been present in the film ever since its original theatrical release in 1977 (a fact apparently confirmed by Disney, whose spokesperson said that the tampering "was done more than 20 years ago"), although Disney claimed that they were not included in the 1992

home video release because that version "was made from a different print." Disney also maintained that the images were not placed in the film by any of their animators but were instead inserted during the post-production process. The company decided to recall 3.4 million copies of the video "to keep our promise to families that we can trust and rely on the Disney brand to provide the finest in family entertainment."

Wags Sedate Medicine Men!

March 6, 2014, Medicine Men Vs. Wags

Revenge can be so sweet.  The Medicine Men started this session by defeating the Wags and ending their winning streak.  Wags had to pick up a free agent to replace Jeff "Speed Racer" Lopatka who is on the Injured Reserve List after being injured by a drunken driver.  The team signed a card for Jeff and went to work on a big win for him.  They score a goal on the first 2 shifts of the game to take a 2-0 lead in the first 3 minutes. Jay "Roadrunner" DeMaria struck first at 14:04  Kyle "Killer" Sandowski and Jay set up Jacko Jakubaskas a minute later.  The Medicine Men answered with a goal at 11:53 to cut the lead in half.  Wags went on a scoring spree and scored 4 unanswered goals.  Mano

scored the first 2, then Jay scored his second as did Jacko.  The M-Men scored a goal to close out the scoring in the wild first period that ended at 6-2.  Jay picked up his hat trick midway through the game.  Jay then set up Killer to extend the lead to 8-2.  Kevin "Smooth as" Glass  teamed up with Tommy Z to set up the prettiest goal of the game when they took a pass from Snuffy Snick, then exchanged passes before setting Torey up for a one timer blast that gave Wags a 7 goal lead.  The M-men cut the lead to 9-4 with a pair of late second period goals.  Jacko scored his hat trick to open the third period scoring to make it 10-4 Good Buddy, but 00 answered that for the M-Men.  Killer Kyle answered that a minute later  with Glass' 2nd assist of the game.  The Medicine Men scored 40 seconds later and made it 11-6.  Road runner scored his 4th and 5th with assists by Glass and Kyle.  Number 18 closed out the scoring in this wild game that ended with a 13-7 win for the Wags.  The referees were stingy with assists as they designated half of the 20 goals as unassisted

Ed the Wall Waghorn had to make 15 saves to pick up the win.  The Wags peppered the M-Men with 43 shots on goal!
