The house that I was born in, on  Rockwell Street, was constructed in 1907. My Grandfather, purchased it in 1920 for about $8000. The mortgage was paid off in 1931

My Mom used to go there to collect rent from the tenants when she was a teen. My Grandpa and Grandma  moved there in 1933 when they lost their Paulina Food store. My mom and dad moved in to the second floor apartment in 1939 and Uncle Frank and Aunt Emma Zimny moved into the third floor apartment in 1943.

Each apartment has a china closet like this in the dining room.
