White Power Rides Again!

Romeoville, IL 09/25/09                        The Polar Bears Win All 3 contests Attendance 24                  The Whites won the Meaningful contest 2-0, thanks to another pair of goals by Brinks.  They won the Meaningless contest 12 to 6 with Duffer GOD (Grandson Of a Duffer) Bobby Fetting scoring 5 meaningless goals.  Then they went on to edge the Reds at Wild Wings.  The Whites usually lose the Wild Wing contest because the White Goalie never shows up, but this week they edged the Reds 8 to 7.  They had Thor, Hacksaw, BBTW, Doc, Terry, Tweedy the Goalie, Brinks and his son in law, Kevin.  The Reds came up one short with T&A, TZ, Beak, Bill's friend, Jimmy the

Rags, Frank, Rich Storm and the Bookie.  The Whites got off to a fast start, with 2 goals by Brinks, 2 goals by Bobby Fetting and Bill By The Way added a solo goal to give the Polar Bears a 5-2 lead at the end of the first period.  Brinks' son in law, Kevin, played a great Duffer game.  He made many passes and took few shots.  Mini Wheezer and T&A had the goals for the Red Bears.  T&A's goal took a 6 inch dip just as Tweedy tried to glove it.  BBTW added another in the first minute of the second period and Bobby made it 7-2, but the Reds came storming back with another goal by Ambrosia and 2 by Art to make it 7-5 after 2 periods.  BBTW's guest, Jim "Jimmy the Rags" Ragland fired a shot past Tweedy when he got a nice pass from Tommy Z to make it 7-6.  V-man scored a pair to make it 9-6.  Then the Game changed, as Bobby

Doc brought a guest and showed up at Wild Wings.
