November 6, 2008 The Wags downed the Wild Eagles in a wild shoot out. Russ Reel, Dan Lopatka and Tom Zagorski had "Hat Tricks" while Ed Waghorn stopped 26 shots. John Woodring flipped in a pair while Dean Paloumpis and Tony Letto each tallied once to give the Wags a 13 to 7 win over the Wild Eagles.
Woodring, Letto, Reel and Joe Fenzel spent 2 minutes each in the "sin bin."
November 11, 2008 Only 7 Wags players got off of the couch on Veterans Day for a 10:50 P.M. game against a speedy bunch of Admirals that jumped off to a 4 goal lead in the first 8 minutes. Wags finally got on the board when John Woodring scored an unassisted goal with 1:59 left in the first period.

The Admirals answered that with a buzzer beater that put the Wags down 5-1 after 1. Their ace player figured it was over so he went home. The Admirals made it 6-1 with a goal at 13:11. That woke up the Wags as they wen on to score the next 5 goals! Dean Paloumpis started the scoring streak when he converted a Russ Reel pass at 12:31. 3 minutes later, Tom Black teamed up with Russ to set up Dan Lopatka to make it 6-3. Russ Reel took a pass from Woodring with 3:40left in the period and made it 6-4. Lopatka made it 6-5 with 30 seconds left in the second period, when he converted a pass from Reel. 37 seconds into the third period, Woodring took a pass from Reel and scored a "Wrap Around" goal to tie the score! The tie only lasted 20 seconds as the Admirals took a 7-6 lead. The Wags came right back 50 seconds later with a goal

by Russ Reel on a helper from Tom Black. Dean Paloumpis teamed up with Reel to take the lead 90 seconds later at 11:26. Paloumpis set up Dan Lopatka at 10:43 to take a 9-7 lead. The Admirals cut the lead to 1 a minute later, then tied it on a power play goal at 7:32. The game remained Tied until the 4:09 mark when the Admirals poped in the game winner. Wags pulled their goalie with 1:06 and peppered the Admiral goalie with shots, but time ran out. The beer was cold, but not as tasty as it was a few nights ago.
