If you like goals, you would love this game, because there were 9 goals in the first period, as the Wags took a 6-3 lead into the second period.  Things settled down in the second when Ed Waghorn held the Italian Style to only one goal while his team pumped in 4 more to take a 10-4 lead.  The scoring revved up again in the 3rd as the Tony Letto made it 11-4 and the Wags relaxed and watched the Italians poke in 4 unanswered and suddenly we had a contest again and  the running clock was ended! Mike Campbell with 9:20 left to start a string of 3 straight Wags goals that put the game away.  The Italians added a meaningless goal in the last second to make the final score 14-9!
