4 for Granato 4 Points for Zagorski!

The game started out with a fast pace double shut out as both goalies kept the game scoreless.  The Motorheads got a power play early in the period, when Russ Reel was given 4 minutes for "Unsportsmanlike Conduct", but that power play lasted less than 20 seconds, thanks to a Motor "Cement head" who was sent to the "Sin Bin" for hooking!  Dan Granato put the Wags Warriors on the board when he was set up by Tom Zagorski with 8:12 left to play in period 1.  The lead only lasted for 2 minutes, as Peter Petri blew one past Ed Waghorne.  The GRZ Line (Granato, Reel and Zagorski) did some serious damage on their next shift, when Tommy Z

scored with 1:49 left in the period.  He was set up with a beautiful passing play from Reel and Granato to make it 2-1.  41 seconds later, Tom and Russ set up Granato's 2nd goal to give Wags a 2 goal lead after 1 period.  2 minutes into the 2nd period, the Motorheads made it 3-2 with a goal by Wampach, and then he went on to tie it 10 minutes later!  That woke up the GRZ line as Dan Granato scored a power play goal 30 seconds later on a pass from Russ Reel to give him a Hat Trick!  Wags took a 4-3 lead into the 3rd period.  Granato scored his 4th goal on the next GRZ shift, as Tommy Z set him up for a roof shot with 9:41 left in the game.  3 minutes later, Mark Menzione and his team mate, Anthony set up his Dad, Mr. Menzione, to give Wags a 6-3 lead.  Eleven seconds later, The Mo

torheads cut it to 6-4 with a shot through a maze of players.  2 minutes later, with 2:14 left in the game, Tommy Z picked up his 4th point when he scored his second goal on an assist from Russ Reel, who got the "Playmaker Patch" for 3 assists!  The GRZ Line had 12 points!
