November 16, 2010, Team Conquest. Vs. Wags at Center Ice Team Conquest started the game like they were going to conquest the Wags and avenge their 8-3 loss last month. They scored the only 2 goals of the first period. One early (12:40) and one late (0:10). Half way through the 2nd period, Pat "The Cat" Cleary scored a beautiful goal that was set up by the adroit passing of Tony "The Tiger" Letto and Russ "Porn Star" Reel . Team Conquest scored a minute later to regain their 2 goal lead. Tom "Dimples" Zagorski and Jon "Woody" Woodring set up Kevin "Smooth as" Glass to cut the lead to 3-2 a minute later, but 90 seconds later, they were down 2 again when Team Conquest scored with 4:58 left in the period. Kyle "Killer" Sandowski scored with 2:10 left to play in period 2, when he was set up by Woody and the Porn Star. 64 seconds later the Wags found themselves trailing by 2 again with only 1:06 left in the period.

Team Conquest felt comfortable going into the 3rd period with a 5-3 lead, but as Jaybird DeMaria said "wait a minute, it ain't over till it's over" He took a pass from the Tiger and blew past 2 defenders and made it 5-4 with only 34 seconds left in period 2. That goal
seemed to break "TCs" back, because Ed "The Wall" Waghorn went on to shut them out in the 3rd period. 4 minutes into the 3rd period, a pair of Tonys tied the game at 5-5. when Tony "NoNickNameYet" Daniels took a long pass from Tony Letto and beat the goalie like a drum. It looked like the game would end in a tie, as both goalies were spectacular until the final seconds, when Woodring took a pass from Glass and blew a blistering slap shot past the startled goalie. Zagorski iced the win when he took a pass

from Daniels and flipped a 130 foot wrist shot into the open net with 10 seconds left to play in the game.

Gary "The Inhibitor" Hibbler and Dan "The Man" Lopatka managed to keep their names off of the score sheet by not doing anything stupid. e-mail your comments to:
