January 6, 2011, Puck-o-Holics. Vs. Wags at Center Ice
The Wags started the new session with an impressive win. General Manager Waghorn opened the check book and added some fan favorites to beef up the roster. Jason "Glass Breaker" Sato and John "Porta Johnny" Pollelo paid immediate dividends. One minute and seven seconds into the game, while Tony "the Tiger" Letto was waiting for a whistle to get on the ice, Jay "Road Runner" DeMaria took a pass from Pellelo and gave Wags a 1-0 lead. That lead only lasted a minute, because the Puck-o-Hollics scored a power play goal when Tom "Boston Blackie was in the sin bin for tripping. Tom returned to the penalty box in the 3rd period. Spectator, Kevin Glass thought he saw Black reading, scratch that, looking at pictures in a Playboy Magazine that was found in the box. Wags were able to kill that penalty off, so Tom had the full 2 minutes to view the pictures. The Puck-o-Hollics scored a minute later to take a 2-1 lead just 4 minutes into the game. Sato

tied it a minute later on a pass from Pollelo. The Roadrunner gave Wags the lead with 2:56 left in the period with assists going to Boston Blackie and Russ "Porn Star" Real. The Roadrunner sprung Kyle "Killer" Sandowski for a back breaking goal with only 7 seconds left in period
one. Three minutes into the second period, the Puck-o-Hollics made it 4-3, but Killer got that goal back 3 minutes later with assists going
the recently sighed free agents, Pollelo and Sato. The Puck-o-Hollics made it 5-4 with 1:22 left in the period, but serial Killer Kyle struck again with just 10 seconds left in period 2, to restore the 2 goal lead. Kyle opened the period by setting up the Porn Star to make it 7-4. That lead looked safe until the Puck-o-Hollics scored with 4:47 left. The 2 goal lead looked
safe until Ed "The Wall" Waghorn hooked some speedy punk with 2:13 left in the game. The
Puck-o-Hollics got so excited that they called a time out! That is never a good idea in a midnight hockey game. The referees just want to go home. Tony volunteered to serve the penalty for Ed when he heard there was a magazine in the sin bin. Tony had to get out early when

they scored a power play goal with 50 seconds left in the game. 7-6 is getting interesting. Tom "Dimples" Zagorski ended the suspense when he gave the Roadrunner a pass that sent him off to an open net clincher. Wags win 8-6.
