September 29, 2011, Jet skiers Vs. Wags at Center Ice I usually don't write up losses, but this one was so exciting, I thought it deserved to go into the Wags History. We went up 2-0 on goals Chris "Mad Man" Marzyn and Jay "Roadrunner" Demaria just 4 minutes into the game. Russ "Porn Star" Reel set up Chris's goal and Kevin "Smooth as" Glass assisted Jay's goal after he stripped the puck from a hot shot who was doing some fancy stick handling in front of his goalie. The Jet Skiers were wearing Roman Numerals

so IC made it 2-1 with 10:21 left in the period. IX tied it with 3:44 left to
play in the period. Mad Man struck a minute later to take the lead back. Jay passed to Tom "Dimples" Zagorski, who passed it right back to Jay for an easy tap in with just 56 seconds left on the clock. That 2 goal lead lasted half way through the second period when IC and II tied it at 4-4. Boston Ward and Gary "The Inhibiter" Hibbler made it 5-4 for 21 seconds until X scored from the point on a 5 second power play while Mad Man Marzn was serving a 5 second penalty for tripping. Chris teamed up with Jay to get that lead back just 20 seconds later. That was a Hat Trick for Jay! That 6-5 lead lasted 90 seconds when X tied it with 2:31 in period 2. Russ took a pass from Tony "The Tiger" Letto and made it 7-6 with a blast that hit the back of the net with just 56 seconds left in the second period. The Jet Skiers opened period 3 with a pair of goals to take their first lead of the game. (I told you this was a thriller) "Mad Man" Marzyn tied it with his Hat Trick with 8:56 left to play. Dan "The Man" Lopatka was credited with the assist. IV gave the Jet Skiers the lead 3 minutes later, but Boston Ward tied it at 9 goals each with 3:53 left to play. Then it happened, IC scored the game winner a minute later and added an empty netter in the final seconds to take an 11-9 thrilling win. Ed "The Wall" Waghorn made 32 saves while his counter part had to make 34 saves.
