	Jay Blows the Shutout!


	October 26, 2017. Wags Vs Hoppy Sticks (Attendance 2) Wags made it 5 in a row with a winning formula. Score a lot of goals and have your goalie pitch a shut out. Ed Waghorne lost his shutout with 3:14 left to play when Roadrunner Jay fired a great pass to an enemy sniper in the high slot. The guy walked in and fired a shot past Ed to ruin Ed's masterpiece. Jack "The Ripper" Iandoli got the scoring started when he score an unassisted goal at 12:22. Joe "Bro" Matker made it 2-0 a minute later with an unassisted goal. Brad "Speargun" Murphy scored an unassisted power play at 6:14. One minute later, Alex "AC" Carson picked up the first assist of the game when he set up Alex "D'Angel" D'Angelo scored to give Wags a 4-0 lead going into the 2nd period. Brother Joe wasted no time in scoring his second unassisted goal at 13:59. The referee must have felt bad about missing all of those assists in the first period, because he gave 7 assists on the next 4 goals. Tom "Z-Man" and Joe "Sandpaper" Santelli assisted Dan


	Luke and the Lopatkas had fun in Madison.


	"Da Coach" Lopatka's goal. Kevin "Smooth As" Glass and Roadrunner Jay were given assists on Mike "M&M" Matker's goal. At 9:01, Roadrunner Jay made it 8-0 when he was set up by Sandpaper and Glass. "Speargun" Murphy took a pass from Alex "A/C" Carson and made it 9-0. Alex "D'Angel" added 2 goals in the final 2 minutes of the second period to pick up his hat trick. Alex Carson picked up his playmaker patch when he was credited with his 3rd assist on the 11th Wags goal. The third period went by quickly with the 11 goal lead triggering the running clock. The only goal in the 3rd period came when Ed "The Wall" Waghorne had his shutout spoiled by


	an errant pass. Coach Lopatka had little sleep after the game because he had to leave for Wisconsin for an 8:30 in Madison. His team posted an 8-2 win. We watched Matt Swastek's cousins lead the Badgers to a 4-2 win on Friday. Sean and Jason Dhooghe are fun to watch. Sean is 5'3" tall and weighs 139 pounds. Jason is 5'7" and 141.
