	September 21, 2017. Wags Vs Pick Ups (Attendance 2.3) Wags made it 2 in a row with a shut out win over the Pick Ups. Ed "The Wall" Waghorne stopped every shot including several clean breakaways. "M&M"Mike's brother Joe "Bro" Matker got the game winner just 1 minute and 6 seconds after the opening face off. The lazy referee listed it as un assisted, although I know his line mates had a hand in that goal. Mike Miller made it 2-0 with 7 minutes left in period one. Again, it was listed as unassisted. Early in the second period, "Angelic" Alec D'Angelo made it 3-0 with a goal that was assisted by Matt "The Swatter" Swastek. Five minutes later, Tom "TZ" Zagorski set up Alec for another goal to give Wags a four goal lead. Wags put in the dagger when the "The Swatter" set up Wayward Jay (He slept through the last game) for a buzzer


	Mike "M&M" Matker coaxed his brother Joe out of retirement.

The Wags D Men of Matt Swastek, Joe Santelli, Chris Schulze and Dan Lopatka continued their stellar defense to protect Waghorne while the Pick up players tried desperately to spoil Ed's shutout. Ed was required to make another breakaway save in the closing minutes. Roadrunner Jay scored an unassisted power play goal with 37 seconds left to give Waghorne a dominating 8-0 shutout win. I'm sure that Kevin "Smooth as" Glass, Dan "Da Coach" Lopatka Brad "Speargun" Murphy and Chris Shooter Schulze had assists on those goals that were listed as unassisted. Wags put 43 shots an


	the Pick Ups' goalie. Final score Wags 8, Pick Ups 0. For most of the game, we only had one fan and one reporter, but Joe "Bro" Matker's GF showed up to see the final 10 minutes, giving us an official unpaid attendance of 2.3.
