	June 19, 2017. Wags Vs. Puckups (Attendance 1) Wags had 3 lines of speedy energetic players that put on a show for the fans. Unfortunately I was the only fan. Grandpa Kuta was in Arizona and the loyal women fans were shopping. The Puckups gave Wags a battle last month, but Wags squeaked out 5-3 win with a late goal. This time, Wags scored 2 quick goals to get the Puckups back on their heals. Steve "G-Man" Gaul went coast to coast and scored an unassisted goal at 11:19. Ryan "Bara" Kuta set up Roadrunner Jay


	Winning Goalie Ed Waghorn with Kevin Glass and Matt Swastek.


	19 seconds later to give Wags a 2-0 lead. The Puckups scored with a 3 on 1 rush at 7:43 to cut the lead in half. Then a turnover at the blue line gave them a clean break away goal with 1:21 left in period one. Dominic "The Rover" Rovito got the lead back 16 seconds later with an assist from Brad "Speargun" Murphy. That goal put the Puckup goalie in shock and he gave up 8 unanswered goals in the second period! 25 seconds into period, "Speargun" Murphy took a pass from Jay and fired a beautiful backhand shot that beat the goalie on the short side. 90 seconds later, G-Man Gaul fired a shot that hit the goalie and went right to Tommy Z-Man Zagorski who used his adroit back hand shot to give Wags a 5-2 lead. G-Man and Kevin "Smooth as" Glass set up Jack "The Ripper" Iandoli a minute later! It gets better, as Killer Kyle Sandowski scored an unassisted goal 82 seconds later when Matt got tripped and a penalty was called, but the accused never had to serve, so Matt should get an assist. Two minutes later, "Speargun" Murphy made it 8-2 with an unassisted goal at 8:14. "G-Man" Gaul scored with an assist from the Glass Man at 7:06. Things settled down as both goalies made some nice saves until "Speargun" Murphy scored an unassisted goal with 46 seconds left in the period. The Puckups finally scored a goal in the 3rd period, but Jay got the 8 goal lead back when he converted a beautiful pass from the Z-Man. Matt "The swatter"
