September 22, 2016. Wags Vs. Crooked Rangers Dan "The Man" Lopatka got the call to strap on the pads from Ed the "GM" Waghorne. Ed also settled contract demands with Tory "Snuffy"Snick and Mario "V-Man"Vervillo. Those 2 moves produced the lowest scoring game in years! One minute after the puck dropped for the opening face off, Jay "Roadrunner" Demaria redirected a pass from Tommy "Z-Man" Zagorski. To give Wags an early lead that lasted until Jay set up Killer Kyle Sandowski with 2:46 left to play in period one. the right side and passed to Tory on the left wing, causing the Rangers goalie slide over to block Tory's shot that never came. By the time he got to cover the left post, the puck was back on Jason's stick and in the net. The first period ended with Wags having a 3-0 lead. Five minutes into the 2nd period, Tory set up Mike "m&m" Miller to give Wags a comfortable 4 goal lead. Dan Lopatka carried that shutout late into the 2nd period until a guy with Patrick Kane's number capitalized on a rare Wags turnover and cut the lead to 4-1. Killer Kyle teamed up with Jack "Teen Idol" Iandoli and made it 5-1 with 16 seconds left in the second period. 30 seconds into the 3rd period, Killer Kyle Sandowski got his Hat Trick thanks to Road Runner Jay. Matt the Swatter Swastek, Kevin "Smooth as" Glass and the rest of the defenders did a fine job keeping the Rangers scoreless for the rest of the night. Kyle made his big brother Rich proud of him. Rich was Kyle's Hockey Dad when Kyle was growing up and learning to play the game. Rich (I
