The Blizzard of 1999 did not stop the students of Randolph School. Classes were canceled on Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday morning, Mr. Lopatka presented Mr. Felton with a difficult decision on his first day on the job as the principal. They decided that the Students would have their science fair as scheduled on Thursday, 1/7/99.
Attendance was down a little because bus service was canceled, but 46 fourth, fifth and sixth graders set up their projects in the Firman Auditorium. There were more science fair judges absent than students.
