The Rescuers

Claim: The photographic image of a topless woman appears in the background of a scene in The Rescuers.

Origins: On 8 January 1999, Disney announced a recall of the home video version of their 1977 animated feature The Rescuers because it contained an "objectionable background image." That image was one which appeared in a scene approximately 38 minutes into the film: as rodent heroes Bianca and Bernard fly through the city in a sardine box strapped to the back of Orville, proprietor of Albatross Air Charter Service, the photographic image of a topless woman can be seen at the window of a building in the background in two different non-consecutive frames, first in the bottom left corner, then at the top center portion of the frame:

Unlike most rumors of risqué words and visuals hidden in Disney's animated films, this one was clearly true, and the images in question were undeniably purposely inserted into the movie.

The two "topless woman" frames had reputedly been present in the film ever since its original theatrical release in 1977 (a fact apparently confirmed by Disney, whose spokesperson said that the tampering "was done more than 20 years ago"), although Disney claimed that they were not included in the 1992

home video release because that version "was made from a different print." Disney also maintained that the images were not placed in the film by any of their animators but were instead inserted during the post-production process. The company decided to recall 3.4 million copies of the video "to keep our promise to families that we can trust and rely on the Disney brand to provide the finest in family entertainment."

	Wags Dumps Banana Hammocks!


	October 16, 2014, Banana Hammocks Vs. Wags Wags survived a very chippy game. Jeff Speed Racer's slap shot left some marks on several opponents. Wags were down 1-0 after 1 period. Ed the Wall Waghorn played well and made 21 saves in the game. The referees were not calling penalties until Speed Racer Jeff slashed a stick out of the hands of a Banana Boy who was going in for a shot early in the game. A little later, Jeff had his skates taken out and he had a loud, hard crash into the boards. Jeff went right after that guy and slashed him, but the referee let it go and the guy wanted no part of Jeff, but Jeff was looking for him the rest of the game and that guy was avoiding shifts when Jeff was out there.


	Waghorn makes another save with 1:32 left.


	Jeff's big brother Mike "Monet" got called for a trip late in the first period. The PK crew killed it off and the period ended with Wags trailing 1-0. The second period was penalty free and Wags were still scoreless half way through the 2nd period. Then they scored 4 unanswered goals in last half of the period, 2 by Mario, 1 by Ryan "Bara" Kuda and one by Mike "The Hammer" Ladas. The last goals 2 were "ball busters" in the closing minutes. Ladas scored with 1:29 and Mario Verzillo scored 30 seconds later. The Bananas had some great chances but they were foiled by some great saves by Ed. They also screwed up some chances when they stick handled themselves silly and lost the puck. It was obvious that the Banana Hammocks were starting to go "Bananas" and unravel during the break before the 3^rdperiod. The "benders" were crying for more ice time, the goalie was pissed for losing his shut out. Everybody was pointing fingers. The 3^rd period turned ugly after Jay "Roadrunner" DeMaria scored 3 minutes in and put Wags up 5-1. One of the Banana boys slammed Kevin "Smooth as" Glass into the boards (He didn't shatter) and was called for roughing. Jeff got called for a slash of the stick at the end of that power play. Jeff could get a contract with a stick company for all of the sticks he breaks. He broke an opponent's stick last game with a slap shot. The Bananas scored a power play goal half way through the power play of Jeff's penalty at 9:29. Three minutes later, Monet Mike got a stick slashing penalty with 7:36 left to play. Half way through that PK, Kevin got slammed again, so we were 4 on 4 until Mike got out. "Roadrunner" Jay was called for a trip with 4:55 left in the game. After Wags killed that penalty, Bara Kuda scored with 2:31 left in the game

and then it got real ugly when the score went to 6-2. One of the Banana boys was mouthing off to Jeff, so Jeff dropped his stick and motioned to dance even though Jeff had a lip full of stitches from a Game on Saturday. The referee tossed Jeff without recording any thing on the score sheet. With 1:01 left in the game, Monet Mike lifted one of the benders stick and the guy fell. The stick contact made a loud sound, so Mike got sent for tripping. Mike objected and got 2 minutes more for unsportsman like conduct. He yapped even more and got a game misconduct. He is out of the next game. He will be giving Tattoos in the stands. FYI. Jeff has a new cage in his bag, I hope he puts it on for the next game.
