Only 1 Meaningful Goal! 
The Whites had only 9 skaters, thanks to Trick or Treat parties.  The Reds had 11, and Bill "The Maestro" Conti was headed over to balance off the sides, but fortunately Beak stopped him, because the sides would have been evened up numerically, but the talent would have been unbalanced.  The sides were pretty even, as it turned out, as both teams managed over 40 shots on goal, but The Brain was on fire as he made the difference.  By the Way Bill got the Whites off to a fast start as he scored 2 goals early in the first period.  He had a chance to give his team the Meaningful lead when he had a 3 on 1 with high scoring Thor on his left and Hacksaw, who has 1 more goal than  Jonathan Toews, 

on his right.  He surprised everyone, especially the Anvil, by scoring an unassisted goal that gave him a Hat Trick in the first period!  Back Door Tommy was the only one able to solve the Brain until the Maestro beat him in the third.  Tom "T&A" Ambrosia also had a Hat trick for the Whites, but it took him 3 periods to get his and Stump tipped one in for him.  Geno scored the only Meaningful goal to give the Whites a 1-0 Meaningful Win.  The Reds closed the score to 8-5 , but Terry scored a back breaker and the Whites went on to win a laugher 10-6  TZ had 5 of the 6 Red goals.

Thanksgiving plans:

We Need to find out if Beer Nuts will bring the camper, or should we get the party room like we did 2 years ago.
We will play on Thanksgiving morning at 9:00 A.M. at Downers Grove Icearena (Thursday November 27, 2008)
We will play the following evening at 8:00 P.M. at Downers Grove Icearena (Friday November 28, 2008)

The Meaningful Age is determined by the average age.  This number was calculated using the ages of the 30 dues paying Duffers on November 7th, 2008.  We expect a few more members to cough up before Christmas, but this is the number that we will use until the next calculation.  Tom "T&A" Ambrosia missed the Meaningful Age cut off by 11 months.  Maybe next year, but then again all of us will be a year older.
