The Red Bears Win Again!

Last week, the Red Army used intense fore checking to keep Art and Jeff under control, this week they used a strong defensive trio of Grandpa Ken, Bill BTW and Dave the Goalie, (who wasn't playing goalie).  Tweedy was subbing for the Anvil, who was out plowing snow for his village.  Eddie will be upset when he finds out that Tom Ambrosia brought in a bottle of his favorite brew.  The guys had a hard time finishing that off without the Anvil's help.  The Red's defensive trio not only kept the Whites in check, but each one of them scored a goal.    Grandpa Ken's goal put a lot of pressure on his son Jeff, who had his sister and a

few friends cheering him on.  Jeff wasn't able to solve his Uncle Dan, who was making some great saves, until late in the second period.  Fruitcake and Art had a goal for each team.  Fred tipped Dave's goal in and Art took a TZ rebound and stick handled it past his own goalie, then broke his stick in the glass.  Magoo was closest to Art when he scored, so it could have been a meaningful goal, but it was never brought up at Wild Wings.  The Zagorski brothers each had a Hat Trick to give the Reds 9 goals.  The Polar Bears could only get 6 past a red hot Tweedy, who stoned his nephew Jeff on several break a ways.  Tom "T& A" Ambrosia, Rich Storm, Art and Fruitcake had solo goals, while Jeff managed a pair.  To make the final score 9-6.  The Meaningful score was 1-1 or 1-0, but we had more exciting things to talk about at Wild Wings.  Beak felt a little older as he was able to legally buy his granddaughter a beer.  Attendance was down again as both teams had 2 full lines and had to rotate 3 defensemen.

I sent out these pictures and Leapin Lu, one of our Canadian Duffers,  wanted to know if one of those guys was Boris with hair.  I told him no, but the hot looking lady in the back row was his wife.

(Standing, left to Right) Mrs. Slime Dod, Mrs. Hacksaw, The Queen.  (Sitting Left to Right) Mrs. Presecky, Mrs. Thor and her sister.

So I sent him some Hacksaw pictures with hair.

This is why the Anvil wasn't there for the Crown Royal.
