Brinks Bounces Back With 2!

Deuces Were Wild!
Six guys had at least 2 goals as we had a wide open game.  The Reds had Tommy t&a while the Whites had no teenagers to balance the power.  Tweedy had to play like a teenager.  Tom T&A brought a bottle of Crown Royal* and then put on a White jersey.  I have noticed a trend there.  The guy that brings a bottle of Crown Royal usually plays for the White team.  Brinks had 2 goals and a Klinger Krash.  It didn't qualify for the KK Award since he didn't make any noise and he didn't stop the game.  Fruitcake took a puck to the jaw that dropped him as fast as a hooker's jeans.  He took a short rest then came out for his next shift.  V-Man and Berserk also had 

After the game, Brian headed for Wisconsin.

2 goals for the Whites.  Tweedy and T&A scored solo goals to give the Whites the 8 goals needed for the Meaningless win.  The game was close as it could be as the Reds matched the Whites goal for goal.  When the Whites scored with 59 seconds left in period 2, t&a poked one in 58 seconds later to tie the game at 5-5.  Bill BTW and Tom "TO" O'Connor scored a pair for the Reds While Tommy "TZ" Zagorski had a hat trick. 

Assists

Tweedy had an assist on Brinks' 2nd goal.  Brinks scored both goals in the 2nd period and on the same shift.  Berserk had an assist on V-Man's 2nd goal that turned out to be the game winner.  Scott, "the New Guy" Wisenglass made a two line pass to spring T&A for a 3rd period tally.  BBTW's 2nd goal was assisted by TO & TZ.

Whites 8,  Reds 7: Meaningful Score, Reds 2. Whites 2.
Memorable Moments:

Reds had a 3 on 1 that turned into a 3 on 3 because 2 guys back checked!  T&A was one of those nuts.

  • Harvey was traded to the Whites at game time, but the Anvil shut him down.

    • *Correction: T&A told me that did not bring the Crown Royal.  Scott W. brought it.  He did put on a White Jersey.

    • Brian is going to miss the playoffs so that he can go fishing once the ice melts in Hayward Wisconsin.
    • He will get his place ready for a possible road trip.
      •
