The King needs Picture money and 30 year Stuff orders.  He also needs $40.00 if you plan to attend Beak's Retirement Party at the Oak Lawn Holiday Inn on June 8.  The King has graciously agreed to round up a table or two full of Duffers.  The evening will include a family style dinner and open bar. 

 The Peoria Rivermen  wanted to take one of their two games in Trenton to open the ECHL's Northern Conference Finals. They just wanted to win the first game and then see what would happen in game two. Instead, the Rivermen played a lackluster game on Wednesday night but came back after a day off and played one of their best games of the season dumping the host Titans, 4-1. That win ties the series with the next three games at Carver Arena. JF Boutin scored first with just 3:09 left in the second period to break open a scoreless battle. The Titans would tie the game just 3:31 into the 3rd period on a powerplay goal, a tip in shot of a Scott Bertoli shot. Tomaz Razingar just over three minutes later took a pass from Didier Tremblay in the high slot and scored his first of the playoffs. JF Boutin would score after Matt Golden gave up a shot with just 5:15 left in the game and it was 3-1 Rivermen. Bret Meyers would make it an even series scoring an empty netter with just 1:05 left and it was 4-1 Peoria. The Rivermen were outshot, 30 to 28 but it didn't matter as the Rivermen played brilliantly in the effort. Game three is on Sunday at Carver Arena with a 6:05 PM start time. Game four is Tuesday and game five will be on Wednesday- both at Carver Arena and both start at 7:05 PM.  Who wants to go?

Worcester Ice Cats lost a game 7 heartbreaker 3-2 in over time. The Providence Bruins will move on to the Eastern Conference Finals.
