shifts.  Normally there are 90 minutes of ice time and if we have 3 full lines, each player has an average of 30 minutes each.  (Unless Harvey is "sharing" ice with you, you may be lucky to get 5 two minute shifts, because  Harvey likes to take 7 or 8 minute shifts.) Unfortunately Harvey was not there last week, so each guy had to skate an average of 64.28 minutes.  That makes for a very slow game.  Thor had Terry's shot go off of his skate and into the net, then he blew a slap shot past Stump in the second period.   Terry had 2 first period goals for the Whites.  Papa Joe had a skate goal and a rebound goal.  Art blew a slap shot from the point past Stump to give the Whites 6 or 7 goals. Rags had 2 beautiful goals that were almost identical one timers on passes from Tommy Z.  TZ also set up the Bookie for the Reds 3rd goal.  All 3 Red goals were power play goals. Beak realized that when Drago and him took a break  at the same time, the Reds had a big advantage.

Fruit Cake, Geno and Bill Maestro (Geno showed up with a cast on his hand)  Only The Maestro is eligible for the Tim "Basketball Jones" Smith award that requires perfect attendance at the games and  at Wild Wings.  We may have to have the come up with a Fruitcake Perfect attendance award that requires you to show up for every game and blow off every post game fun fest at Wild Wings.
Please bring some car keys, so that Fred doesn't have to skate with his wallet in his glove.
