A impartial spotter in the stands counted 52 shots on the Anvil and 32 on The Brain. The Whites could have easily won 10-5 if the Anvil had not brought his A-Game.  The Brain had a great game too, although he had his defenseman run into him and pin him to the ice.  That defenseman shall remain nameless until I have a beer.  The Brain was later victimized by his center after making a great kick save on a shot from the bookie.  That unnamed teammate fired that rebound into the back of the net. That center shall remain nameless until I have another beer.

Ohio State is 8-3-1 Ryan Dzingel Has 9 points in 11 games
The Buckeyes, beat Northern Michigan 4-1 on 11/11/11, then beat them again by the same score on 11/12/11.  They are now on a five-game winning and seven-game unbeaten streak, they are 8-3-1 on the year and 5-2-1-1 in the CCHA. Ryan learned to skate with the Duffers when he was 5.
