Goalies change their colors!
My granddaughter and her softball team has kept me busy with 3 games on Saturday and games on Monday and Tuesday. She had a double, triple and a homerun on Saturday and 2 triples on Monday against Reavis High School. (Thor's went there in the 60s) They play at Plainfield South at 4:30 on Thursday and they have 2 tournament games on Friday at 4:45 and 7:00 in Romeoville just east of our rink. They will also play there on Saturday at noon and 2:00. Tournament Information
When I finally sat down to write the news, I couldn't remember what happened last Friday, so I checked my e-mail and no one claimed any goals, then I found the e-mail that I sent out on Saturday before I headed out to Highland Park for the high school softball tournament. The following says it all:

Whites 7
Cowboy Joe 3, Brinks 2, Rench 1, and V-man had one tipped in by the Czar


	Michelle and her home run ball.

Reds 4
Tom Z, Mini Wheezer, Harvey and The Czar each had a goal.

Memorable Moments

Cowboy Joe had a Hat Trick

Brinks had 2 more goals on one good leg.

The Czar tipped in V-Man's shot from the point. (You won't see the Brain in Red in the near future)

Beak's attempted pass to Nick went right to Brinks who was in the slot. He buried it.
The Duffers consumed $40 in chocolate to help Michelle's team.
Thank you to Dillon, Terry's super salesman son, who hit some guys for $2:00 per bar.
We had a record crowd thanks to Tweedy's and Kevin Rench's families. (They got free candy)

When Michelle launched this ball high into the trees behind the right field wall, we thought we would never see it again, but Mr. Floyd retrieved it by climbing through thorny bushes and snake infested terrain. Thank You!
